Tan Cang - The Cong Achieves First Place in the National Youth Volleyball Championship 2023

The National Young Volleyball Championship of 2023 brought together nearly 300 athletes from 24 youth volleyball teams nationwide, including 11 men's and 13 women's teams. The competition format is similar to the national championship, held annually to provide opportunities for young athletes to showcase their skills and contribute high-quality human resources to both club teams and Vietnamese volleyball in general.

With a sense of responsibility in participating in the development of sports activities, serving the mission of building and defending the Nation in a new phase, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Military Physical Training and Sports Center, officially renaming the men's volleyball team to Tan Cang - The Cong starting from March 23, 2023.

With a long tradition and being one of the teams with the best achievements in the national championship, Tan Cang - The Cong, a professional men's volleyball club under the military system, entered the tournament with the best preparation and maximum focus, creating conditions for the team to compete at their highest level.

After two weeks of competition in the National Young Volleyball Championship 2023, the final match was considered an intense battle between Tan Cang - The Cong and the Ninh Binh team. Both teams showcased impressive plays, dedicating thrilling and compelling moments to the audience.
 

Under the leadership of the coaching staff and the unity of the team, Tan Cang - The Cong played with a relaxed attitude, showing seamless coordination and sharp, solid gameplay, leading to an impressive victory. Tan Cang - The Cong won with outstanding performance and bravery, achieving a superior score of 3-0 (26/24, 25/19, and 26/24).

This is the result of the relentless efforts of a team that carries unity, discipline, professionalism, and a determined spirit, leaving an important mark in the development and construction journey of Tan Cang - The Cong.

Concluding the National Young Volleyball Championship 2023, the Tan Cang - The Cong team achieved first place, Ninh Binh secured second place, and the Tra Vinh and Hanoi teams shared third place.

For the young men's Tan Cang - The Cong team, the dedication and achievements of the team signify not only the success of the collaboration between SNP and the Military Physical Training and Sports Center, but also the success of investment and development for young men's volleyball in Vietnam in the future.
