Seven Seas Explorer prepared to berth at Cam Ranh International Port
The arrival of Seven Seas Explorer at Cam Ranh International Port is not only a prosperous “spring opening” milestone, kicking off a vibrant series of international cruise ship calls for the locality and the enterprise; it also strongly conveys the message of a safe, friendly, and culturally rich Vietnam, ready to elevate cruise tourism cooperation in a new era. According to its voyage journey, Seven Seas Explorer is currently operating a 14-night voyage titled “Culinary Escapades in Asia” departing from Singapore and concluding in Hong Kong, with Cam Ranh International Port being one of the regularly selected destinations.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Bui Van Quy, Deputy Commander of Corps 20 and Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), emphasized: “In 2025, Cam Ranh International Port made a strong mark by honorably welcoming 29 five-star international cruise ships, serving approximately 50,000 passengers and crew members, and becoming a bright spot in the port operations of Tan Cang – Petro Cam Ranh Company Limited.”
Recent operational results provide vivid evidence that Cam Ranh International Port has fully mastered the process of receiving large cruise vessels, including the capability to accommodate two vessels simultaneously or serve vessels staying overnight. Ensuring absolute safety for these calls has affirmed the Port’s modern operational capacity, creating a solid foundation for welcoming even larger generations of vessels in the future. This demonstrates the professional management and coordination capabilities between the Port and relevant authorities, while further enhancing Cam Ranh’s appeal to the high-end leisure travel segment.

Since the beginning of 2026, Khanh Hoa Province has welcomed 19 international cruise ship calls (of which Cam Ranh International Port has received 13 international calls), with more than 30,000 passenger visits ashore for sightseeing. According to vessel registrations from cruise lines, the locality is expected to welcome an additional 29 international cruise ship calls in 2026.
Notably, each vessel call has been handled in a thorough and highly precise manner, with 100% schedule accuracy and no delays or cancellations. Passenger embarkation and disembarkation procedures have been carried out quickly and safely, even under unfavorable weather conditions, earning high recognition from both cruise lines and travelers.

With the principle of always accompanying its customers, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) is committed to delivering complete and memorable experiences for international travelers when they arrive in Vietnam.
Building on this success, in the Year of Binh Ngo 2026 and in the years ahead, a series of the world’s most modern international cruise ships have registered to call at Cam Ranh International Port. This positive signal shows that the Port is set to become a central destination and an indispensable link on the cruise tourism map of Vietnam and the region. In doing so, it will continue to affirm its role in connectivity and tourism-driven economic development, while effectively promoting SNP’s fifth business pillar, reflecting the diversity and integration of SNP’s service ecosystem.
