CSAV, biggest shipping line in Latin America and ranked 7th worldwide shall deploy 11 vessels with loading capacity of 3,500 teus each on this weekly service, providing direct ocean freight service from Vietnam to West Coast of America, skipping transshipment in Singapore and Shanghai as before. CSAV was making the most of the booming trading activities between Vietnam and America by operating direct service between the two countries, connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Long Beach in 23 days. ASIAM service also includes several stops between South East Asia and India, enabling inbounds to directly be transported from India to Vietnam, creating favorable conditions for shippers and meeting the increased trade between the two countries.

CSAV Norasia is the 5th shipping line to call at TCCT after Zim Line and three joint services of Mitsui O.S.K Lines (The New World Alliance), Hanjin (CKYH) and OOCL (Grand Alliance). The fact that more shipping lines are now calling at TCCT has partially proven SNP’s advantages on service quality and a complete facility system among all premises. TCCT’s customers are now at hand to render their choice of operation in any of SNP’s premises such as Tan Cang – Song Than ICD (Binh Duong), Tan Cang – Long Binh ICD (Bien Hoa – Dong Nai) by land as well as Tan Cang Terminal and Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal by waterway.

At present, SNP is speeding up investment progress to build two ICDs in Cai Mep – Thi Vai area namely Tan Cang – Cai Mep ICD and Tan Cang – DIC ICD as well as rendering barge service between Ho Chi Minh City area and Thi Vai – Cai Mep Deepwater Port Hub, between the Mekong Delta and Ho Chi Minh City and between Ho Chi Minh City, Cai Mep and Cambodia. All premises are well connected both by land and by waterway, which brings about the most utilities for customers of SNP in general and TCCT in particular and save time and costs.
