On March 30, 2012, Tan Cang – Mien Trung Terminal JSC (TCMT), a member of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) solemnly celebrated “The Customers’ Meeting 2012 of Central Region” at Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.
On March 30, 2012, Tan Cang – Mien Trung Terminal JSC (TCMT), a member of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) solemnly celebrated “The Customers’ Meeting 2012 of Central Region” at Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province. The event was an opportunity for SNP and TCMT to express our specials thanks to all Export/Import Customers, Shipping Lines and Forwarders in the central region for their constant cooperation and use of services at SNP in general and at TCMT in particular in recent years. At the meeting, representative of SNP gave a thank-you speech and introduced logistics services connecting Central Region with all facilities of SNP. The meeting had also crucially strengthened good relationship between SNP and all customers and partners, partaking in enhancing its prestige and reputation.
As part of the logistics network of SNP, TCMT has water draft at berth of -8.6m enabling accommodation of vessels of up to 175m LOA (or 15,000 DWTs). On February 08, 2011, TCMT had officially been operational and received the first container vessel Visico Pioneer with 7,055 DWTs (350 TEU). With convenient location, TCMT plays a very important role in developing the transport system in Southern Central Provinces and Laos; shortening distance, saving costs, enhancing competitiveness for clients in the region; creating an important link for import/export with Inner Asia, Europe, and the USA. It goes without saying TCMT will help to foster local cultural and socio-economic situation and create more jobs for local residents as well as fulfill defense and security area.
