Inauguration of Saigon Newport Mekong Delta representative office

On July 22nd 2015, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) held the opening ceremony of its representative office at Can Tho City, to boost services at the Mekong Delta.
With sustainable development strategies based on 3 core businesses: port operation, logistics services and domestic shipping, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) considers the Mekong Delta as the new market, with the center point being Can Tho City. Since 2009, SNP has deployed synchronized actions to develop and operate its network effectively. Can Tho City, which locates in downstream of Mekong River, in the center of Mekong Delta, is an important connecting point both domestically and internationally. Beside Tan Cang - Tra Noc Terminal, SNP is also building Tan Cang - Thot Not Terminal (estimated operation time: August 2015) and Tan Cang - Cai Cui Terminal (cooperated with PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation, estimated operation time: late 2015).

SNP's Mekong Delta Representative Office shows SNP's determination to contribute to the economy of Mekong Delta, especially to Can Tho City. With its logistics premises (including SNP Logistics, Tan Cang Waterway Transportation JSC, Tan Cang - Cypress JSC, Newport Shipping JSC and Tan Cang - Mekong Logistics JSC), SNP will operate marine services such as port operation, logistics services, transportation, barging services to increase productivity, reduce cost and time, upgrade quality to meet customers' demands.
