14/10/2026
From October 14 to 17, 2026, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) participated in the Vietnam – Cambodia Trade and Product Promotion Fair 2026 (VIDEX CAMBODIA 2026) in Phnom Penh to showcase integrated logistics solutions connecting Cambodian cargo with Vietnam’s seaport system and international shipping routes.
VIDEX CAMBODIA 2026: A Bridge for Bilateral Trade
Held from October 14 to 17, 2026, at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the fair gathered 160 enterprises across more than 230 booths, creating a dedicated platform for businesses from both nations to showcase products and services, seek strategic partners, and foster economic cooperation.
For Saigon Newport Corporation, the event offered a direct channel to engage with the Cambodian business community, reinforce relations with existing clients and partners, and tap into new cargo streams.

Growing Bilateral Trade Expands Logistics Potential
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam – Cambodia trade turnover reached USD 11.33 billion in 2025, representing an 11.7% year-on-year growth. In the first eight months of 2026, bilateral trade reached USD 8.67 billion, up 8.3% over the same period.
Both nations are targeting a two-way trade volume of USD 20 billion. Beyond serving as a direct trade partner, Cambodia generates significant transit and transshipment cargo passing through Vietnam’s seaport system, including Tan Cang - Cat Lai Terminal and the Cai Mep port cluster to reach global destination ports.
As Cambodia's import-export operations expand, demand for seamless transport from Cambodian inland areas to Vietnamese seaports has intensified, creating an urgent need for synchronized logistics infrastructure, enhanced multimodal transport efficiency, and stronger integration between border gates, logistics hubs, and seaport networks. This momentum presents substantial opportunities for logistics providers to strengthen interregional connectivity and optimize cross-border supply chains.

Saigon Newport Corporation Invests in Infrastructure and Cross-Border Service Networks
In response to market demands, Saigon Newport Corporation has actively driven trade promotion in Cambodia through specialized seminars, business matchmaking programs, and strategic cooperation agreements with local partners, alongside continuous infrastructure investments and network expansion.
In December 2025, Tan Cang – Moc Bai Dry Port officially opened, enhancing cargo connectivity via the Moc Bai International Border Gate to southern Vietnam’s seaport system and establishing a solid foundation for Saigon Newport Corporation to expand its logistics services in Cambodia.
Integrated Logistics Solutions and Multimodal Transport
Leveraging a robust seaport and logistics ecosystem, Saigon Newport Corporation operates multimodal transport across three strategic corridors: road, river, and coastal shipping.
Road transport: Cargo is seamlessly routed through key border gates, including Hoa Lu, Binh Hiep, and notably Moc Bai. Here, Tan Cang – Tay Ninh JSC. delivers cross-border logistics services via Tan Cang – Moc Bai Dry Port, facilitating cargo consolidation, inspection, and border clearance for import-export freight.
Inland waterway transport: Saigon Newport Corporation operates routes along the Tien and Hau rivers, connecting to Cambodia’s PPAP river ports (including terminals LM17, TS11, UM1, UM2, and LM26). Tan Cang Cypress and Tan Cang Waterway Transport offer direct barge services between Phnom Penh and ports in southern Vietnam, while SNP Logistics operates a river-sea transport network enabling direct barge shipments from Vietnamese seaports deep into inland Cambodia.
Coastal shipping: Saigon Newport Corporation expands connectivity to Keo Phos Port (Koh Kong) and Kampot Port (Kampot Province), offering flexible maritime transport options for Cambodia's coastal cargo.
By optimizing these three transport modes, Saigon Newport Corporation reinforces its standing as a premier logistics provider in Cambodia, offering end-to-end (door-to-door) solutions spanning transport, forwarding, and customs procedures.
Crucially, with a well-distributed empty container network operating continuously across Cambodia, Saigon Newport Corporation enables exporters to proactively secure containers, shorten turnaround times, and optimize logistics costs.

Saigon Newport Corporation has participated in VIDEX Cambodia for five consecutive editions, unlocking partnership and logistics growth opportunities in the market.
