Strengthening Vietnam–China–Thailand connectivity through the CVT1 service operated by HUAXIN from February 2026

On February 15, 2026, Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc Terminal (TCHP) successfully welcomed the vessel YONGSHENG 98 on the CVT1 service operated by HUAXIN with a frequency of one sailing per week. This is the second service operated by the shipping line at TCHP, following the CVC1 service, further reinforcing TCHP’s role in handling intra-Asia services.
CVT1 – THE FIRST SERVICE AT TCHP PROVIDING EXPORT CONNECTIVITY TO THE THAILAND MARKET
The CVT1 service was launched to maintain and strengthen the supply chain connecting China – Vietnam – Thailand, with the port rotation: DONGGUAN – HO CHI MINH CITY – LAEM CHABANG. Customers in the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta now have an additional service option at TCHP, enhancing their competitiveness for exports to the Thailand and China markets, particularly for seasonal agricultural cargoes, through faster transit times, greater shipment planning flexibility, and improved supply chain efficiency.

Overview of TCHP
Despite the market facing numerous challenges amid volatility in the global economy, TCHP has made significant efforts to maintain service quality, optimize operational efficiency, enhance competitiveness, and successfully persuade the shipping line to launch this new service. At the same time, the terminal also provides integrated logistics solutions for customers, including international ocean freight and customs clearance procedures. This once again demonstrates the confidence and high regard that HUAXIN, along with many other shipping lines, places in TCHP for the deployment of intra-Asia services.

HUAXIN, established in Hong Kong, China in August 2018 by Trawind Shipping Logistics, was founded to officially develop its container shipping business and provide a wide range of services on trade routes linking China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, and Southeast Asian countries. In Vietnam, SITC Tan Cang Logistics Co., Ltd. serves as HUAXIN’s agent. The parties are actively expanding and developing the intra-Asia market in 2026.
In addition to the new CVT1 service, HUAXIN is currently operating the CVC1 service at TCHP with the port rotation: QINZHOU – HO CHI MINH CITY – KAMPOT (CAMBODIA), achieving an average volume of 500 TEUs per voyage. At the same time, the shipping line also provides feeder connections to inland ports in China.
