SYMS/YML Joint-venture to launch new China Thailand service

As of April 2007, SYMS has now operated back in HCMC by a joint-venture with YML for the following rotation: HCMC – Bang Kok – Laem Chabang – Hong Kong – Shekou – Inchon – Qingdao – Shanghai – HCMC.

As of April 2007, SYMS has now operated back in HCMC by a joint-venture with YML for the following rotation: HCMC – Bang Kok – Laem Chabang – Hong Kong – Shekou – Inchon – Qingdao – Shanghai – HCMC.
Under the new service namely CTS, this joint-venture will mostly implement inbound activities in North-East Asian ports: Hong Kong, Shekou, Qingdao, Shanghai (China), Inchon (Korea) and outbound activities in ports of Vietnam and Thailand by means of SYMS’ two 1,000-TEU M/Vs of Conti Barcelona & Conti Sydney and YML’s 900-TEU YM Danang. SYMS’ Conti Barcelona is bound to begin CTS’ maiden call at Cat Lai Port on April 06, 2007 following a berth plan of “Friday – in” & “Saturday – out”.
The new service has essentially promoted a close cooperation between SNP and SYMS/YML Joint-venture, which is bound to help meet the growing demands of customers.
