On the morning of July 28, 2024, in Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Tan Cang - Cai Mep Joint Stock Company (TCCT) partnered with Ba Son Corporation and Tan Cang Maritime Service to successfully and safely receive the project cargo ship AAL Hamburg (a newly constructed ship, officially named on July 12, 2024, conducting its first voyage at TCCT). This reaffirms TCCT's position as a reliable partner for customers, highlighting its role as an extended arm of TCT TCSG in providing super-heavy project cargo logistics solutions in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai area.
AAL Hamburg (with a deadweight tonnage of 32,000 DWT and LOA of 180m) - named after Germany's busiest port city, is the second of eight advanced B-Class project cargo ships from AAL Shipping.

The AAL Hamburg project ship docked at Vietnam for the first time, carrying out its maiden cargo operation at TCCT port on July 28, 2024.
The AAL Hamburg uses dual-fuel technology and is equipped with three heavy-lift cranes on the port side (each with a lifting capacity of 350 tons and a combined maximum capacity of up to 700 tons). It also features the "AAL ECO-DECK" - an automatic weather deck folding system.
This is the latest innovative technology equipped on all advanced B-Class project cargo ships of AAL Shipping, expanding the deck area to 5,200m², meeting the demand and optimizing the transportation of general project cargo.
Maximizing the advantage of Vietnam's first deep-water port in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai area, TCCT has solidified its position in providing top-quality services for project cargo operations and super-heavy cargo:

Professional Services, High Expertise: Optimize the advantages of system connectivity from the Saigon New Port Logistics Ecosystem platform, TCCT has closely coordinated with Tan Cang Maritime Services Joint Stock Company to carry out pilotage and towing services, ensuring the safe docking of ships. Additionally, TCCT has led close coordination with Ba Son port, cargo owners, and ship agents to create a detailed cargo handling plan, arrange vehicles and experienced personnel, and supervise the loading and unloading process closely to enhance ship discharge productivity, ensuring safety throughout the docking and handling process, and ensuring the absolute safety of the cargo according to the plan.
