Tan Cang - Hai Phong International Container Terminal (TC-HICT) welcomes the vessel YM UBIQUITY of YangMing Shipping Line
On the afternoon of April 20, 2022, Tan Cang - Hai Phong International Container Terminal (TC-HICT) continued to welcome the YM UBIQUITY vessel of the YANG MING shipping line, operating the PS3 service line (before that, the first maiden call of this service line was operated by the shipping line ONE, with the ship ONE CONTINUITY successfully docked on April 1, 2022).
The YM UBIQUITY container ship has a capacity of 8,626 TEUs, LOA = 333.2m on the PS3 service line (the existing line returns to TC-HICT). The PS3 service line directly connects HAI PHONG & AFRICA with voyage: Hai Phong - Yantian - Los Angeles - Oakland - Busan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Port Klang - Nhava Sheva - Pipavav Port - Columbo - Port Klang - Singapore - Cai Mep - Hai Phong

Yangming Shipping Line (Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation) is a Taiwanese shipping line (Taiwan), belonging to The Alliance, with 4 shipping lines: ONE, Hapag Lloyd, HMM and Yang Ming. Established in 1972, YANG MING has been operating in the Vietnam market since 2008. The shipping line is ranked 15th in the world with the volume of transshipment of up to 603,320 TEUs per year, including 92 container ships accounting for 2.5% market share in the shipping industry.

With the current improved handling capacity and service quality, TC-HICT receives 12 service lines / week, with 6 routes connecting directly to the US. Service lines directly connecting Hai Phong with the US are increasingly being operated by large shipping lines at TC-HICT, meeting the growing demand for import and export cargo transportation in the region and the world.
