Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc Terminal successfully welcomed the first two wind power vessels of the Lac Hoa 2 project

On 24 October 2021, Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc (TCHP) received the 175m long LIBERTY HARVEST bulk carrier Panamanian nationality to dock to unload more than 4,700 tonnes of equipment for the Lac Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant project (130MW), Soc Trang province.

The entire shipment of Lac Hoa 2 project (30MW), Soc Trang is operated at Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc Terminal (TCHP) via 2 UHL FLAIR bulk carriers (150m long, Portuguese nationality) docked on 10 October 2021, and LIBERTY HARVEST (175m long, Panamanian nationality) docked on 24 October 2021, successfully and safely handling more than 4,700 tons of equipment / vessel.

Strongly promoting system connectivity, TCHP has closely coordinated with SNP Logistics and Tan Cang Technical Services Joint Stock Company to proactively plan the loading and unloading, arranging means of goods handling. Experienced personnel closely follow and grasp from the time the ship arrives to the end.

This is a wind power project using turbines, applying the most modern technology today. The turbine body height is up to 162 meters, and each product code is of great value. Understanding this, TCHP has focused resources, arranged berths to release ships as planned; ensure labor safety and strictly comply with epidemic prevention and control regulations. Thereby, TCHP terminal continues to affirm its position in the Vietnam port operation market.
