Tan Cang Offshore Services (TCO) received the Third Class Labor Medal

On the evening of March 11, in Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Cang Offshore Services (TCO) under the Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) solemnly celebrated its 10th anniversary and received the Third Class Labor Medal.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Navy; Major General Tran Dinh Thang - Director of Economic Department of the Ministry of National Defense; Rear Admiral Pham Manh Hung - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Navy; Senior Captain Ngo Minh Thuan - General Director of SNP. Besides, there were also leaders of Thanh Hoa and Bac Can provinces, representatives of the Naval Command, representatives of the Commands of the Regions: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and Navy Brigade 189, representatives of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, and leaders, former leaders of SNP.



At the ceremony, Mr. Le Dang Phuc - the company's director - reported the company's outstanding achievements in the past. TCO was founded on 17 March 2012 and operates in seaport management and exploitation, transport, and installation of offshore works, multipurpose service ships, seismic protection vessels, and marine survey ships, surveying underground works by ROV equipment, towage to rescue and respond to oil spills.

With the most modern equipment and vehicles in Vietnam, along with a team of officers, employees, professional workers and 10 years of construction and development, TCO is the leading provider of offshore and rescue services in Vietnam. It successfully organizes rescue of vessels in distress at sea.

The company also effectively operates in four main offshore services: oil and gas services and seismic protection, survey services for underground works, transport services, installation of marine works, response services at sea. TCO is one of 5 companies among 31 companies under SNP with a turnover of over 1,000 billion VND/year.

Currently, the fleet of TCO operates widely throughout Vietnam's seas and is constantly in international markets such as Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Korea, and Japan. With the capacity of over 20 vehicles, including 16 multi-purpose oil and gas supply and service vessels with capacity from 5,000 to 12,000 horsepower; 02 sea barges; 02 remote-controlled scuba diving equipment (ROV), ensuring a full range of offshore services according to the increasingly high standards of oil and gas contractors. At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Navy Political Commissar - recognized and praised TCO officers and employees for 10 years of construction and development. In the coming time, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong asked TCO to continue to well carry out propaganda, education, and thoroughly grasp the Party's directives and resolutions, especially the Congress resolution for officials and employees.

Under the authorization of the State President, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to Tan Cang Offshore Services 

At the same time, the company must promote its core business areas, such as offshore services, logistics, salvage and rescue. On the 10th anniversary of its establishment, authorized by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to the collective of TCO. Mr. Le Dang Phuc - Director of TCO - was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Navy Command. In addition, the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union also presented Certificates of Merit to TCO and 2 individuals.
