In the situation of the fierce challenges and difficulties: world’s economic crisis, public dept in Euro – Zone to make negative influence on the cargo exported to USA & E.U, the severe competition in Cai Mep area, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd (TCIT) has kept the stable position as the leading deep sea terminal in Cai Mep area.
Building and sustaining implicit trust of customers is the lifeblood of any company. This is a critical factor in ensuring a business’s long-term survival and success. During the past time, TCIT has always focused on improving the service quality by getting the better handling productivity, investing and developing human resources. Simultaneously, TCIT has close ties with the authorities of Cai Mep Customs to simplify administrative procedures so as to help customers get their cargo quickly.
In the year 2012, despite of the fierce competition, TCIT received 266 vessels with the total throughput in comparison with those of 2011of 543,548 TEU, a sharp year on year increase of 97% . TCIT is the leading terminal in Cai Mep area making up 58% of the market share of the area. There are 8 vessels every week in Cai Mep & TCIT receives six ones.
All above achievements were gained thanks to the great support and the trust of 13 customers of shipping lines for TCIT including: MOL, Hanjn, Wanhai, APL, Cosco, K’Line, Yangming, Hyundai, NYK, OOCL, Hapag – Lloyd, Inter-Asia Lines, and China Shipping and the customers of these shipping lines.
In the year of 2013, TCIT makes a commitment to provide the best services to our customers by incessantly improving the handling productivity, avoiding the long - waiting time, clearly answering all queries of customers and quickly supporting to move customer’s cargoes according to their requirement to Cat Lai, Tan Cang and ICDs in order to bring implicit trust for our customers.
