Mr. Heusdens showed that in this business trip to Vietnam (from 22 to 24 May), the delegation will hold a meeting between Amsterdam Seaport Association and Vietnam partners at Sofitel Plaza on 23rd May 2007 and invited Mr. Thao and SNP representatives to join the meeting

On 22nd May 2007, the Amsterdam Seaport Association led by Mr. Jasper Heusdens-Member of the Board – Chamber of Commerce for Amsterdam visited SNP Company according to recommendation of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industrial (VCCI). Mr. Tran Dinh Thao – Deputy General Director and representatives of Departments joined to receive the delegation.

Mr. Heusdens showed that in this business trip to Vietnam (from 22 to 24 May), the delegation will hold a meeting between Amsterdam Seaport Association and Vietnam partners at Sofitel Plaza on 23rd May 2007 and invited Mr. Thao and SNP representatives to join the meeting. Accompanying with Mr. Heusdens, there have been presence of Mr. Patrick Randel – Director of Research & Development – Maritieme Academie Amsterdam and Mr. Pieter Bas Bredius – General Director – Container port Ceres Paragon. Mr. Heusdens expressed his desire for seeking investment and co-operation opportunities in the fields of seaport operation.

Mr. Thao had a brief introduction of SNP Company and the development projects at Cai Mep, Long Binh and Song Than. He mentioned also the return from Netherlands of three SNP officers after the Diploma Management Study course held by STC Group in Rotterdam. He highly appreciated the training quality and expressed his desire to co-operate with Amsterdam Seaport Association in the fields of seaport operation and personnel training.
