On 18th Dec 2012, TAN CANG LOGISTICS AND STEVEDORING JOINT STOCK COMPANY (TCL) held The Customers’ Appreciation Party. This was an opportunity for TCL to express thanks to the Customers, the Shipping lines, the Customs and partners who have supported TCL during the years, to update the latest information with regard to the business outcome, the investment projects and development of new facilities and services implemented in 2012 as well as the objectives for the upcoming years.
In the Party, the Chairman of Board of Management (BOM) cum Director of the company, Mr. Nguyen Van Uan, has briefed the TCL’s results in 2012. In 2012, overcoming many challenges, TCL has striven and completed the scheduled plan 18 days in advance. The total revenue reached VND 576. 24 billion – an increase of 8,81% in comparing to the planned one. Total profit was VND 78.679 billion.
Implementing the Resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders in 2012, TCL has upgraded the infrastructure (such as repairing and upgrading the yard in DEPOT 10, Berth 125, Berth at Tan Cang - Nhon Trach, upgrading and installing more conveyor systems to serve the stuffing/un-stuffing activities. Up till now, the number of conveyers is eight (08), with two (02) dual conveyors; four (04) single conveyors; 02 fixed quayside cranes. TCL can stuff/un-stuff 180 containers per day).

In addition, TCL continues to expand the Freight Forwarder Service and to cooperate with SNPL Department of SNP Corporation in opening a representative office in Haiphong, continues the expansion of the consolidation of the Less container Loaded (LCL), door to door services, local transportation. In the year, TCL also focused on improving the quality of the Service at the depots, for examples: collaborating with some shipping Lines (such as Maersk, Wanhai, Mol, CSC, Hanjin etc… ) to unify the receipt/delivery processing, delivering the empty containers under FI-FO , improving the quality of M & R services , unifying the management solutions, solving all the problems in term of the M & R inspection & quotation giving timely ... All what TCL has aims at serving clients better & better.
In 2013, TCL will implement the guidelines of Saigon Newport Corporation including “Service Expanding, Customers’ Connecting, Management Strengthening, Cost Saving and Doing business efficiently". Regarding its existing services, TCL promises to keep improving the quality such as : focusing on the cost minimizing , quick delivery/receipt, taking care of customers diligently so as to satisfy all the customers & keep their trust.
