Mr. Kitazawa showed his interest in Cai Mep project - phase 1 progress and desire to bring MOL mother vessel to Cai Mep Terminal soon
On June 14 2007, the Delegation Mitsui O.S.K Lines (Vietnam) (MOL) under the guidance of Mr. Kitazawa – Executive Officer of Mitsui visited SNP Company on the occasion of his business trip to HCM City. General Director Nguyen Đang Nghiem and Representatives of Departments warmly received the delegation at the Great Hall of SNP.
Mr. Nghiem said that SNP is making essential preparations for the coming negotiation to establish a joint venture for the Cai Mep project phase 2 in which MOL is one of three partners who signed the Memorandum of Understanding with SNP. He also expressed his desire to present SNP’s options for the Joint Venture and hoped that the involved parties would reach an unanimous agreement and good results as expected.
Mr. Kitazawa showed his interest in Cai Mep project - phase 1 progress and desire to bring MOL mother vessel to Cai Mep Terminal soon. With the capacity to receive vessels up to 6.000 TEUs, Cai Mep project will be a promising destination for main vessels especially when Vietnam export/import volume is growing significantly after Vietnam’s access to WTO.
Two parties shared the same ideas that besides Cai Mep project – phase 2 SNP and MOL will strengthen co-operation in other field
