The kick-off ceremony of the Oracle Transportation Management

In order to optimize logistics service quality, Saigon Newport Corporation began the application of Oracle Transportation Management. This project is provided by Oracle Vietnam, FPT and KPIT.
The kick-off ceremony was held at Tan Cang on 25th May 2015, with the attendance of representatives of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), Oracle Vietnam, FPT, and KPIT.
This ceremony once again affirmed SNP's determination to apply technology in its logistics services. The Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is based on Oracle database, the ERP package will be provided by FPT IS, the first phase including license and services.
This OTM project will be applied to 12 subsidiaries of SNP, with 5 modules: Order management, Transportation planning, Transportation cost and payment, Ship scheduling, Broker and transit. The project will be operated in February 2016.
