The MOU signing ceremony between Huyndai Marine and Saigon Newport coorperation.

On 06th July, 2017, at Tan Cang – Cat Lai there is a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Huyndai Merchant Marine LLC (HMM) and Saigon Newport Cooperation (SNP). The cooperation of the two parties to promote the strengths of each party, contribute to improving business efficiency between the SNP and HMM.

Through MOU, the two sides expressed their willing to cooperate to maximize benefits in developing logistics facilities such as ports, ICDs and depots in Vietnam, including in Hai Phong city  and Vung Tau province as well as expanding business  to expand the Logistics Services market in Vietnam.
HMM, a subsidiary of Hyundai Group - one of Korea's leading multinational corporations, headquartered in Seoul, is the world's 14th largest container shipping company, with a fleet of 160 vessels and branch network in many countries around the world. In Vietnam HMM is now one of the largest shipping lines and one of SNP's major partners. In 2016, HMM ranked 13th in terms of cargo throughput  through SNP facilities.

The MOU between HMM and SNP marked a important milestone in their partnership. HMM and SNP will become long-term strategic partners in port operation, ICD and logistic services in key economic areas domesticslly as well as internationally. This is also a step to affirm the sustainable development strategy of three pillars including port operation; Logistics services; Shipping and maritime services of the SNP.
