Wan Hai to re-structure service in the Asia-Mexico-WC Aouth America

TAIWAN's Wan Hai Lines (WHL) has come to a new arrangement with Cosco, CCNI, Hamburg Sud, China Shipping, Hanjin and Hyundai regarding the operation of their Asia-Mexico-west coast of South America loops.

Under the new deal Wan Hai will join Cosco's west coast South American loop with CCNI consortium's NAX & CEX services, thus replacing its own west coast South American service.

This arrangement will allow Wan Hai to enhance its port coverage to include Xiamen in China, Busan in Korea and Iquique, San Antonio on the west coast of South America and also offer more comprehensive coverage.

Wan Hai will start loading on the WSA, NAX and CEX vessels in week 36 (September 3), on the following rotation for the WSA Service: Kaohsiung, Shenzhen-Yantian, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Manzanillo, Buenaventura, Callao, Iquique, San Antonio, Callao, Manzanillo and back to Kaohsiung.

On the NAX service, the rotation will be Keelung, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Shekou, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Manzanillo, Lazaro Cardenas, Callao, Iqique, Puerto Angamos, Valparaiso and back to Keelung.

On the CEX service, the rotation will be Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Yantian, Hong Kong, Busan, Manzanillo, Balboa, Buenaventura, Guayaquil, Puerto Angamos, Valparaiso, Lirquen, Manzanillo, Busan and back to Shanghai.
