Tan Cang Warehousing JSC (TCW) – one of subsidiaries of Saigon Newport Corporation, Vietnam People’s Navy was established on 04th January 2010 on the basic of merging Tan Cang Warehousing Enterprise (1989) and Cat Lai Warehousing Enterprise (2002).
The company was established to meet the demand of developing logistics chain and solutions for improving the service quality, going alongside with the renewing of state-owned and military enterprises. With the main function of developing the market, customers, expanding services of warehousing, container yard, transportation, and linking logistics supply chain from production line to consumption, from domestic to international market and in Saigon Newport Corporation’s supply chain.
Jan 4th: Tan Cang Warehousing JSC received the Certificate of Business Registration authorized by the Department of Planning and Development of Ho Chi Minh city.
Jan 25th: Tan Cang Warehousing JSC organized a Grand opening event on the basic of merging Tan Cang Warehousing Enterprise (1989) and Cat Lai Warehousing Enterprise (2002)
Sept 16th: Established Cat Lai Logistics JSC – a member of Tan Cang Warehousing JSC
August 26th: Grand opening of Tan Cang Hiep Luc JSC – member of Tan Cang Warehousing JSC.
Dec 12th: Grand opening of Tan Cang Suoi Tien Depot at Long Thanh My ward, District 9, HCMC.
Jan 9th: Tan Cang Warehousing JSC organized the 5 years anniversary and received Third class Labour Medal.
March 1st: Business moved from Tan Cang terminal to Cat Lai terminal
April 1st: Grand opening of overland transportation services.
May 9th: Operated the new CFS warehouse with 2 modern floors (Warehouse no.5)
Certificate of Business Registration: issued by Department of Planning and Investment of HCM city (04/01/2010).
Total area of warehouses: 40,000 m2, loading efficiency: 300 containers/day.
The warehouse system was designed in a modern manner, fulfilling diverse requests from customers. It was equipped with 6-level-shelves in all area of warehouses to increase capacity and convenience for supervision. Various systems were used to assist management and operation of the terminal including TOPOVN, TOPX (for container), WMSVN (for warehouse), real time search import, export, in stock goods using barcode as well as automatic fire prevention and protection system.
