Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Visits and Works with Corps 20

At the working session, Mr. Ngo Minh Thuan briefed the delegation on the results of the Corporation’s performance in fulfilling military and national defense duties, as well as its production and business operations. Accordingly, in 2025, Corps 20 – Saigon Newport Corporation(SNP) maintained unity in leadership and direction, successfully accomplishing its military and defense missions; SNP also excelled in its production and business activities, with key and critical economic indicators all increasing compared to 2024.

In 2026, the entire system strives to achieve a 12% increase in key economic indicators, raise labor productivity by over 8.5% compared to 2025, and secure more than 20% revenue growth in the logistics service sector. The Corporation will continue building a clean and strong Party organization, and develop the Corps into a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern force, capable of successfully fulfilling all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the session, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc highly appreciated the achievements made in recent years, which have contributed to the development of the city and the national economy. He called on Corps 20 to further promote its accomplishments, strengthen the application of information technology in port operations and logistics, and continue contributing to the growth of the city and the country. The city leadership also extended Lunar New Year greetings for the Year of the Horse, wishing all officers, employees, and workers across the system good health, unity, resilience, wisdom, and success contributing to double-digit growth for SNP, the city, and the nation.
 

On this occasion, on behalf of the leadership of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc and the delegation presented Lunar New Year gifts to the officers, employees, and workers of Corps 20 – Saigon Newport Corporation.
