SNP is Vietnam's leading enterprise in port operation, logistics services, transportation, and maritime economic sectors. SNP is developing a diverse ecosystem connecting logistics centers, inland container depots (ICDs), and deep-water ports, maintaining strong links with import-export businesses, shipping lines, government agencies, and associations. SNP focuses on sustainable development towards a digital economy, green economy, and the use of clean energy.

VIMC is a key enterprise in Vietnam's maritime industry, specializing in sea transport, port operation, and maritime services. VIMC is a pioneer in international cooperation, providing global maritime services and significantly contributing to the development of Vietnam's maritime economy. Since 2020, VIMC has operated as a joint-stock company.

At the ceremony, leaders from both corporations discussed mutual interests and agreed on specific cooperation areas:
  • Optimizing National Port and Logistics Capacity: Creating a unified, modern port and logistics ecosystem to significantly enhance cargo handling capabilities, reduce congestion, and provide a competitive advantage for Vietnam's ports.
  • Comprehensive Logistics Solutions: Offering comprehensive logistics solutions that optimize costs through Door-to-Door logistics services for customers.
  • Developing the National Fleet: Assigning VIMC Lines and Tan Cang Shipping (TCS) to explore cooperation in launching international container service routes, leveraging maritime national advantages, and enhancing the national fleet's capabilities.
  • Human Resource Development: Collaborating to improve the quality of port and logistics operations personnel through joint training and development programs.

During the ceremony, leaders from both corporations expressed hope that the proactive involvement of both corporations' leaders and member companies would create a breakthrough in Vietnam's maritime transport and logistics sector, contributing to the growth of export-import activities and the national economy. In the presence of the delegates, leaders from SNP and VIMC signed and exchanged the memorandum of understanding, marking the beginning of a new cooperation era between Vietnam's leading maritime and logistics enterprises.
