Tan Cang IT Solutions (TCIS): 15 Years of Faster, Smarter and Stronger

On October 31, 2025, Tan Cang IT Solutions JSC. (TCIS) celebrated its 15th anniversary. The event featured a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, recognizing TCIS's contributions to digital transformation efforts at Corps 20, Saigon Newport Corporation.
Founded on November 1, 2010 Tan Cang IT Solutions (TCIS) was established with the mission to develop, implement, and provide comprehensive IT solutions and services, as well as to operate and maintain the IT infrastructure for Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) and its 29 subsidiaries.
Over the past 15 years, TCIS has continuously advanced its technological capabilities, enabling SNP to become a pioneer in digital transformation and technology application across Vietnam’s port and logistics sector. Through its innovation, TCIS has contributed to the realization of the national digital government strategy, helping to reduce customer costs, enhance operational efficiency, and foster economic development.

TCIS has successfully implemented a series of core IT systems, including the CFS Warehouse Management System (WMSVN-CFS), Bonded Warehouse Management System (WMSVN-BW), Distribution Warehouse System (Infor-SCE), and the Electronic Warehouse Management System (eWMS) - all designed to optimize warehouse and cargo operations. The introduction of the TOPOVN software at Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal marked a milestone in the localization of port operation software, transitioning from RBS (Australia) technology to a fully Vietnamese-developed system.
The company also spearheaded the deployment of electronic port systems (ePort) and electronic delivery orders (eDO), enhancing online transaction convenience, procedural transparency, and service quality while saving customers significant time and cost.

Authorized by the Prime Minister of Vietnm, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phuong Nam, Deputy Commander of the Corps 20, presented the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to TCIS.
As part of its rapid digital transformation efforts, TCIS developed and implemented the Tan Cang Terminal Operation System (TTOS) for 15 ports, ICDs, and depots, playing a primary role in building SNP’s smart port ecosystem. The automated gate system at Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal (Gate C) now handles over 99% of truck transactions automatically, setting a new benchmark for operational automation.
In collaboration with RTE (USA), TCIS has also introduced a remote reefer monitoring and control system, ensuring the safety and quality of refrigerated cargo, reducing labor costs, and enhancing digitalized terminal operations.

In the field of logistics management, TCIS deployed the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) system, boosting transportation efficiency and service quality across the SNP logistics network. The company’s adoption of electronic office systems, online meeting platforms, IP telephony, and secure email services has strengthened operational management in military, technical, financial, and maritime security domains.

For its pioneering role in digital transformation within Corps 20, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), TCIS was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister of Vietnam, along with commendations from Corps 20 for its outstanding collective and individual achievements.
