Tan Cang Maritime Services JSC put Tan Cang A6 tugboat into operation

New Tugboat A6 was built in 2010 in Korea. Its former name was SHIN SUNG 3. The Specifications of A6 are: 33.65 m of length, 8.7 m of width; 2.8 m of draft; 89.873 m3 of fuel tanks; 28.22 m3 of freshwater. It is equipped with 02 CUMMINS 2x125KW power generator engine, 2 CUMMINE KTA 50 M2 main engine 3,600 Hp); 2 SHOTELL SRP-1012FP propellers, able to rotate 3600 manufactured by German.

On 16th January, Tan Cang A6 tugboat left Boryeong Korea port to Vietnam. After 9-day journey, on 24th January 2016, Tan Cang A6 tugboat berthed safely at Tan Cảng – Cat Lai terminal.

On 26th January 2016, Tan Cang Maritime Services JSC held the ceremony of launching new tugboat named Tan Cang A6 into operation. Attending the ceremony there were Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hanh - Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation and representatives of the functional departments of SNP, Tan Cang Pilot and Tan Cang Harbour Department.

Tan Cang A6 is the 5th Azimuth tugboat owned by Tan Cang Maritime Services JSC. Tan Cang A6 will help to meet the requirement of towing services of SNP to Cat Lai, Hiep Phuoc, Cai Mep … especially Phu Huu in the time to come it is put into operation in the second quarter 2016. It’ll contribute to the development and enhancement of the brand name of SNP in general and Tan Cang Maritime Service JSC in particular.
