On June 19, 2026, Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Terminal Co., Ltd. (TC-HICT) and Haiphong Port TIL International Terminal Company Limited (HTIT) officially signed a Cooperation Agreement on Vessel Handling Coordination in cases where vessels extend into adjacent berth areas.

(TC-HICT) and Haiphong Port TIL International Terminal Company Limited (HTIT) officially signed a Cooperation Agreement on Vessel Handling Coordination in cases where vessels extend into adjacent berth areas. The agreement marks a new milestone in the collaborative relationship between the two terminal operators at the Lach Huyen Deep-Sea Port Complex in Hai Phong.
The signing of the agreement not only enhances the efficiency of existing port infrastructure utilization but also creates favorable conditions for increasing the capacity to accommodate large container vessels at Lach Huyen Port Complex – a key international maritime gateway for Northern Vietnam.
Strengthening Connectivity and Maximizing Port Infrastructure Efficiency
As import-export volumes continue to grow and demand for larger vessel accommodation increases, closer coordination among terminal operators in Lach Huyen plays an important role in optimizing resources, improving service quality, and better meeting the needs of customers and shipping lines.
The cooperation agreement between TC-HICT and HTIT reflects a shared commitment to partnership and mutual development, with the common goal of enhancing the competitiveness of the Lach Huyen Port Complex while contributing to a modern, safe, and efficient port operating environment.
