Tan Cang - Cai Mep Container Terminal (TCCT) - The first deep-water port in Vietnam

Tan Cang - Cai Mep JSC. was established on October 14, 2007, with the principal purpose of organizing and operating Tan Cang - Cai Mep Container Terminal (TCCT), and the vision of becoming an essential connection in the logistics system of Saigon Newport Corporation at Ho Chi Minh City.
Tan Cang - Cai Mep Container Terminal (TCCT) officially launched on June 3, 2009, making it Vietnam's first deep-water port. This was a significant turning point in the port operating history of Saigon Newport Corporation, as well as confirming the role and position of Vietnam's seaport system in the world, and creating a new direction for Vietnam's seaport industry on the path of international integration and growth.

- KEY MILESTONES:
- June 3, 2009: Welcomed the first vessel and officially commenced operations of Tan Cang – Cai Mep Container Terminal (TCCT), the first deep-water port in Vietnam.
- January 2014: Expanded service offerings to include logistics solutions and warehouse/yard operations.
- September 2014: Invested in and co-founded Tan Cang – Vung Tau Logistics Joint Stock Company.
- August 2020: Received, handled, and transported the largest project cargo to date for the Hyosung Vina plant project.
- September 2020: Signed an MoU with Ba Son Corporation and received Vietnam’s largest wind power equipment vessel (Trina) at TCCT.
- October 2022: In cooperation with shipping lines, launched the Tan Cang – Cai Mep Empty Container Depot.
- March 2022: Partnered with KCTC Vietnam to inaugurate Terminal B – Tan Cang Cai Mep.
