Saigon Newport Corporation awards commendation to The Cong – Tan Cang for their outstanding achievements in 2023

On the morning of January 30, 2024, in Hanoi, Saigon Newport Corporation, in collaboration with the Military Sports Center, organized a ceremony to commend the Military Sports Volleyball Team - Tan Cang for their outstanding achievements in 2023. The ceremony was attended by comrades: Major General Bui Hong Quang, Deputy Head of the Training Department - General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Colonel Bui Van Quy, Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation; Colonel Ngo Ngoc Quang, Director of the District Military Sports Center; representatives from Saigon Newport Corporation, the Military Sports Center, and the coaching staff and athletes of the Military Sports Volleyball Team - Tan Cang.
As a leading port operator in Vietnam, in recent years, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) has continuously strived to develop and improve its products and services to provide top-quality services and enhance brand promotion to domestic and international partners and customers. Since March 2023, SNP has officially collaborated with and introduced the Military Sports Volleyball Team The Cong Tan Cang. The partnership with the Tan Cang Military Sports Volleyball Team demonstrates the determination to build the brand image domestically and internationally through sports sponsorship activities, as well as the spirit and responsibility of SNP in participating in the construction and development of military sports in the new period, contributing to the development of national sports.
On the occasion of the end of the year, in the joyful atmosphere welcoming the Year of Dragon 2024, on behalf of the Party Committee, the Leadership Board of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) - Deputy General Director, Colonel Bui Van Quy, directly met and visited all the officials, coaches, and athletes of the Military Sports Center in general, and The Cong Tan Cang in particular, to commend, congratulate, and encourage the team after a period of hard training and competition, achieving many high achievements for the 2023 season.
At the end of the 2023 season, The Cong – Tan Cang participated in 11 tournaments, excellently completing the tasks assigned by the Chief of Staff of the Naval Command with some outstanding achievements, such as:
- Winning 04 championships: National Youth Championship; Club Youth Cup; National U23 Championship and ASEAN Armed Forces Championship.
- Achieving: 01 bronze medal in the Hung Vuong Cup; 01 bronze medal in the National Championship.
The successes of the Tan Cang Military Sports Volleyball Team in tournaments last year have positively contributed to the implementation of the tasks of national defense and security, production and business, and management work of SNP, enhancing the effectiveness of promoting the brand image of SNP to sports fans domestically and internationally.
At the commendation ceremony, Colonel Bui Van Quy also warmly congratulated the team, hoping that the players will continue to unite, strive, inherit and learn from the experiences of previous generations, passionately train to always achieve high results in competitions, always leave a good impression at domestic and international tournaments, thereby promoting the Saigon Newport Corporation brand, the military sports brand to continue to "fly high, fly far, and spread" along with the team's successes.
