In this context, logistics plays a pivotal role in ensuring an efficient supply chain. As Vietnam's largest port operator, Saigon Newport Corporation has taken the lead in building efficient supply chain systems, supporting numerous cooperative projects in port operations, and enhancing logistics connectivity, especially for oversized and overweight cargo projects. These efforts not only aim to strengthen trade connectivity but also contribute to building a modern, sustainable logistics ecosystem, affirming the comprehensive cooperative and friendly relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

Speaking at the working session, Prime Minister Siphandone emphasized: The Vietnamese Government has facilitated Laos in operating and utilizing Vung Ang Port, which demonstrates Vietnam’s strong support for Laos. This assistance enables Laos, a landlocked country, to gain access to the sea, contributing to the impressive growth in bilateral trade turnover, particularly in the export of agricultural products, minerals, and energy. These achievements owe much to the contributions of Vietnam’s national defense and security enterprises, particularly Saigon Newport Corporation, which has organized numerous activities, such as trade connection seminars with domestic and international enterprises operating in Laos, and has deployed transportation services for Lao goods at Vung Ang Port. We greatly appreciate the model of military enterprises participating in economic development in Vietnam.
