Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) participates in the Vietnam – Cambodia Defence Economic Product Exhibition 2023 and hosts the seminar “Strengthening logistics links Vietnam - Cambodia: Connection & Growth”
The Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and relevant ministries and departments, is organizing the “Vietnam – Cambodia Defence Economic Product Exhibition 2023 (VIDEX 2023)” from October 25 to October 29, 2023, at the Koh Pich Conference and Exhibition Center (Diamond Island), Phnom Penh. The exhibition provides opportunities for businesses from Vietnam and Cambodia to strengthen friendly cooperation, promote investment, encourage joint ventures, partnerships, trade, and technology transfer. The exhibition has attracted nearly 150 businesses and units from both the Vietnamese and Cambodian military, presenting a wide range of diverse products. As a defense economic enterprise, leading seaport operator and logistics service provider in Vietnam, SNP actively participates in the exhibition, coordinates with event activities, and hosts the seminar 'Enhancing Connectivity and Developing Logistics Services on the Vietnam-Cambodia Route’.

Under the theme 'Digital Transformation for Sustainable Port Development,' SNP's exhibition booth had the honor of receiving Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San- Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Comrade Nguyen Huy Tang - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Cambodia; Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan - Deputy Chief of General Staff; Rear Admiral Nguyen Dinh Hung - Deputy Commander of the Navy along with leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia as well as units and businesses of the two countries participated in the exhibition.

Deputy Minister of National Defense - Lieutenant General Vu Hai San experience SNP's Vr360 projectAt the exhibition, SNP also introduced its waterway and land connection services to Cambodia, e deep-water Terminals of the Saigon Newport system in Cai Mep, where large volumes of Cambodian transit cargo are handled. Notably, SNP introduced Tan Cang Gantry Joint Stock Company with a new product, a rail-mounted gantry crane for cargo handling at the yard. Exhibition visitors showed great interest in SNP's products and services presented at the Cambodia Defense and Economic Product Exhibition 2023.
