The “Viet Bac 2009” exhibition to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of Vietnam Peoples’ Army, the 20th Anniversary of the Peoples’ Defense Festival as well as to support the 2009’s national program on the trade promotion was held by the Ministry of Defense in co-ordination with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Thai Nguyen Peoples’ Committee from December 15th to December 20th 2009 in Thai Nguyen city.
The “Viet Bac 2009” exhibition to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of Vietnam Peoples’ Army, the 20th Anniversary of the Peoples’ Defense Festival as well as to support the 2009’s national program on the trade promotion was held by the Ministry of Defense in co-ordination with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Thai Nguyen Peoples’ Committee from December 15th to December 20th 2009 in Thai Nguyen city.
In the evening of 15th December 2009, the opening ceremony was solemnly organized with the attendance of the leaders and high ranking officials of the Party, State, Government, Ministry of Defence, leaders and representatives of the provincial governments and departments of Thai nguyen and Northern provinces. Hundreds of the colourful exhibition stalls of various types, which were displayed by the military and civilian companies have shown the continuous growth and development of the heroic Vietnam’s peoples’ Army during the past 65 years. These have also demonstrated the image, nature and tradition of the “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” who are dynamic, creative, intelligent and determined in the business field.
The “Viet Bac 2009” exhibition was also a good opportunity for the companies and locals to advertise their products and services to the domestic and foreign organizations and investors and support the trade promotion, increase the cultural exchange and strengthen the Army –Peoples solidarity. The typical military companies like Saigon Newport Company, the Viettel corporation, service flight corporation of Vietnam, North Eastern corporation … . have shown their achievements, services and products at the exhibition.
The exhibition house of Saigon Newport was extremely prominent and highly appreciated by the visitors thanks to its unique, intelligent, creative and impressive design and decoration. The SNP had honour to welcome the high-ranking governmental delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hung- Poliburo Member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister and the Lieutenant General Nguyen Tuan Dung – Vice chairman of the Political General Department, head of the organization board to the exhibition house of the company. Besides, the delegation of foreign military attachés, military and civilian delegations as well as thousands of visitors have visited the SNP’s exhibition house.
