Tan Cang - Cai Cui terminal - An entry point for imports and exports in the Mekong Delta.

Tan Cang - Cai Cui Terminal has been in operating since October 24, 2016, when a container vessel operated by Saigon Newport Corporation opened a direct domestic route from Hai Phong to Can Tho. This is also the first commercial trip through the Quan Chanh Bo-Tra Vinh canal, as well as the maiden call to the Mekong Delta region.

International shipping lines are currently researching and establishing a service route that connects the Mekong Delta area directly to other countries that do not transit to Ho Chi Minh City as previously. This is the foundation for the Mekong Delta's import and export goods to be directly connected abroad, with the advantage of cost-saving for logistics companies in this area.
