Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc Terminal (TCHP)

Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc Port Joint Stock Company (TCHP) is a member of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) established in 2010, belonging to the group of seaports No. 5 approved by the Prime Minister. With a strategic location in the middle of the southern region of Ho Chi Minh City and the East Sea. It is identified as an extended-arm for Tan Cang - Cat Lai Terminal (it takes nearly 2 hours by barging transportation from TCHP to Tan Cang - Cat Lai Terminal), and a supporting port of Cai Mep cluster ports in the SNP's logistics service and is a place to collect, gather and customs clearance goods in the southern area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.

With the aim of developing the Cat Lai Terminal D model, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) commits to the efficient transportation time of export/import containers between Cat Lai Terminal D and Tan Cang Cat Lai, ensuring no additional waiting time for vessels to berth or depart, along with various policies and diverse services.

Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc terminal offers optimal advantages in terms of time and cost when bringing in routed ships to do cargo at the Port. Moreover, the advantage of strategic location - 10km from Ho Chi Minh City, located in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park and near-frozen warehouses (Lotte, Alpha, Dory, Saigon Food factories...), along with the increasing exports of Vietnam's key products, has resonated with TCHP's development potential - becoming a connecting hub and convenient customs clearance location in the southern region of Ho Chi Minh City and the region Mekong Delta's focal point.

Post-Dredging Capacity:

After the dredging is completed in July 2024, TCHP will have the capability to accommodate vessels with drafts exceeding 10.5 meters, enhancing its capacity to receive larger ships and expanding its service capabilities for international shipping lines. The cargo handling capacity of TCHP will be significantly improved, reducing waiting times and accelerating cargo loading and unloading processes, especially for IMDG cargo.
