The year 2020 starts with many challenges for TCTT port when the Covid19 epidemic broke out globally. The domestic and foreign economies face heaps of difficulties, which result in the plummet of many service routes. However, TCTT port has been implementing various timely measures to support customers and shipping lines, continue to improve service quality, apply preferential policies; take the initiative in digital application, and successfully deployed Eport software, improving handling productivity; attentive customer hotline 24/7, and simplifying customs clearance procedures. TCTT steadily overcame the difficulties, achieved growth goals according to the 2020 plan, focused on utilizing resources, increased productivity to reach a record of 169.15 containers/hour. By positive service quality and timely policies, TCTT has progressively built a reputation as a strategic partner, trusted by customers and the Shipping Lines.

The event of welcoming the 700,000th TEU and the expected output through TCTT port in 2020 will reach 735,000 TEU, an increase of 13.5% compared to 2019, affirming the port’s growth is stable and ever-growing, contributing to the sustainable development of Saigon Newport Corporation.
