During the ceremony, Mr Nguyen Thanh Truc, Executive Vice President of SNP emphasized that the formation of this joint venture leverages the strengths of both partners, creating a "win-win" model that promotes professional, effective collaboration and delivers added value to customers. He expressed confidence that with the combined efforts of both parties, KM Cargo Services Saigon Co., Ltd. would promptly complete its setup and commence operations efficiently. He also highlighted that this model could serve as a blueprint for SNP’s future depot expansion across other provinces and cities.

Mr. Hyun Yong Chung, Executive Vice President of KMTC, highlighted Vietnam’s growing importance in the Asian maritime transport sector, ranking just behind China. He expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Tan Cang Overland Transport JSC., a premises of Saigon Newport Corporation Corporation to establish this joint venture.
He also announced KMTC’s commitment to increasing vessel deployment and service frequency in Vietnam, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City, the country's largest port hub. These enhancements aim to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen KMTC’s market competitiveness.

KM Cargo Services Saigon Co., Ltd. will develop a cutting-edge depot dedicated to KMTC, enhancing container storage, repair, and turnaround capabilities in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.
This depot will serve as a critical connection in the integrated supply chain, helping shipping lines and customers optimize logistics costs, reduce equipment turnaround time, and improve service quality.

By implementing modern infrastructure and standardized management processes, the depot will streamline container handling, ensure equipment availability, and enhance operational stability.
