Bremen business delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany visits Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal

After visiting the terminal’s production activities and the Production Operations Center, the delegation had a working session with the leadership and officers of the Corporation.

At the meeting, Mr. Bui Van Quy provided an overview of Saigon Newport Corporation’s recent business performance and development orientation, highlighting key initiatives in green port development, application of advanced port technology and engineering solutions, deployment of hybrid barge fleets, as well as SNP’s capability in receiving and handling oversized and overweight project cargo for renewable energy projects and dangerous goods in compliance with international safety and environmental standards.
 

Representatives of the two sides also discussed potential and opportunities for cooperation and investment, supply of goods and services between Bremen enterprises and Saigon Newport in relation to the Corporation’s core business pillars.
 

Impressed by the warm and professional reception, Mr. Kolja Umland, Project Manager for Viet Nam & ASEAN – WFB – Bremeninvest, highly appreciated the professionalism of Viet Nam’s leading seaport and logistics operator. He also expressed his confidence that, following this visit and field study at Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal, Bremen and Saigon Newport will have many opportunities for cooperation and investment in the areas discussed by the two sides.
