Saigon Newport Corporation welcomed the senior leaders of THE Alliance for the first time

On May 24, 2023, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) was honored to welcome the senior leaders of 04 shipping lines from THE Alliance to visit at Tan Cang Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) and Tan Cang Cat Lai Terminal (TCCL). This meeting intends to exchange and update the advantages of the SNP's ecosystem of ports and logistics, as well as further SNP projects in the future, as a way to assist THE alliance's needs and strategies in developing market share in Vietnam in 2023.

TCIT: THE Alliance's initial selection in the Cai Mep area

The delegation visited and worked at TCIT while working with Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), which was chosen as the primary port in the Cai Mep area to exploit all international service routes of THE alliance, playing an important role in connecting Vietnam's import and export goods with major ports in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

With the alliance's reliability, TCIT focuses on ensuring service quality and providing numerous solutions to improve net productivity in order to maximize benefits for shipping lines, such as cost savings on transshipment within regional ports, smooth barge connections, network expansion, and increased flexibility for customers.
Saigon Newport Corporation: The Strategic Partner, Companion, and Development with THE Alliance

Since THE Alliance's maiden call to TCIT in April 2017 and the trans-Pacific service at TC-HICT in November 2019, SNP has become THE Alliance's valued strategic partner, accompanying it through a number of fluctuations in the maritime market.

The Board of Directors of SNP expressed gratitude to the representatives of the four shipping lines in THE alliance

The benefit of connecting the optimized system from the fundamentals of the port and logistics ecosystem from north to south, while focusing on development and pioneering digital transformation in port operations to provide outstanding service, is an affirmation of SNP's commitment to all shipping lines and customers.

The visit of THE alliance senior leaders to SNP signified a prosperous step forward for the two sides' future sustainable and strong development, not only at ports in the Cai Mep area but also at other facilities in the SNP system, particularly new deep-water port developments.
To meet increasing demand and be a reliable partner of client shipping lines in general and THE Alliance in particular, Saigon Newport Corporation will constantly attempt to improve service quality, implement a digital transformation, and follow green port requirements.
