On September 2nd, 2013, at Hanoi National Convention Center, Tan Cang Logistics and Stevedoring JSC (TCL) was honored in the Top 100 Vietnam Gold Star Award 2013. The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association organized and presented the award.
Mr Do Thanh Truong – board member, vice president, representative of TCL was honored to receive this award. This year’s Vietnam Gold Star Award was given to over 300 Vietnamese enterprises. TCL was honored in the top 100 and was given first place in the stevedoring and warehousing section. This is the third time TCL receives this prestigious award.
Tan Cang Logistics & Stevedoring JSC is a subsidiary of Saigon Newport Corporation. The company is providing handling services, rice packing services, bulk cargo services, depots services at Cat Lai terminal. Tan Cang Logistics also operates 128 ICD in Hai Phong, Tan Cang-Nhon Trach and other projects. In difficult economic situation, TCL always endeavors to improve the quality of services, build brand reputation with the motto " effective solutions for supply chain", Logistics services of TCL are highly appreciated. Being available on the stock market since 12/2009 with the stock code TCL, Tan Cang Logistics has always asserted its stable business performance and has been highly appreciated by investors. In 2012, TCL revenue was 998.49 billion vnd, 106.41 billion vnd of EBT, budgeted 50.96 billion vnd, net profit reached 80.63 billion and dividend occupied 18% capital. These are impressive numbers in the context of difficult economic in which many business losses or ceases operations in 2012. For many years, TCL is commended and rewarded by People's committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Ministry of finance for its effective operation and contribution to the state budget.
