Saigon Newport Corporation accompanies economic development in the Vietnam Southeast region

More than 500 participants attended the forum, representatives of ministries, central agencies, local leaders, associations, logistics and import-export companies, and media agencies. This event confirmed the important role of the logistics system in promoting the economic development of the Southeast region.

The presence of a gateway seaport, typically large ports operated and exploited by SNP, such as Tan Cang Cat Lai - Ho Chi Minh City area, TCIT, TCCT, TCTT terminals - Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port area, and the ecosystem of logistics facilities, have contributed to facilitating import-export activities and international trade for the region.



As a leading port operator and logistics service provider in Vietnam, the conference is an opportunity for SNP to collaborate and exchange knowledge and experience in the management and operation of the port and logistics system with government agencies, regional partners and enterprises, establishing many new opportunities to develop and expand facilities, as well as developing high-quality human resources in the field of port operation and logistics, contributing to the extensive development of the region, such as:

• Strengthening seaport capacity: SNP has invested substantial in upgrading and expanding existing seaports and building new ones. This not only helps increase freight capacity, but also creates many new trade opportunities for the Southeast region. In particular, enhancing and optimizing port operations in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai area will help meet the trend of increasing the world's large tonnage fleet, and increasing the volume of imports and exports of goods in the area.
• Develop potential, improve logistics capacity efficiency: In addition to strengthening the capacity of the seaport system, SNP is a pioneer in providing flexible and sustainable logistics solutions and a barge system aimed at green transportation and ICDs and depots in neighboring provinces and cities. Along with the application of digital ecosystems such as transportation operations management (OTM), electronic port (ePort), customer relationship management (CRM), electronic warehouse management (EWMS), SNP constantly improve service quality and optimize customer experience in the Port-logistics service chain.
