Interasia Lines paid a visit to SNP

On May 16, 2007 the delegation from Interasia Lines (IAL) led by Mr. David Lin – IAL president visited Saigon Newport Company. Mr. Nguyen Dang Nghiem- General Director and representatives of SNP’s Departments joined to receive the delegation
Mr. David Lin had a brief introduction about IAL and expressed his desire on co-operation with SNP in term of the terminal operations.
On the side of SNP, subsequent to displaying video of the Company introduction, Mr. Nghiem briefed further on the development projects expanding the Container Yards and quay in Cat Lai terminal in order to meet the increasing demand of the shipping lines. It is planned that in the year of 2007, Saigon Newport will expand Cat Lai port by 280m of berth and 6,2 ha of CY. The company is also speeding up the construction process of phase 1 at Tan Cang-Cai Mep terminal and carrying out the pre-feasibility study of other terminal development projects. The development of the ICDs in the close combination with the port projects is also concetrated by the Top Management of SNP.
This visit of IAL is a good opportunity for both sides to have mutual understanding and further co-operation in the coming time
