Opening ceremony of Newport Pilot company and year-end party at Saigon Newport company

On 12th December 2008, the first Saigon Newport friendship golf tournament, the opening ceremony of Newport Pilot Company and year-end party was solemnly held. The golf tournament at Long Thanh Golf attracted participation of 31 representatives including General Directors and Chief representatives and representatives of Shipping lines and agents in HCM City. The golf tournament was divided into three groups A-B-C and took place ebulliently from 11:00 to 17:15 with an impressive final results: Mr. Taylor Lee – General director of Hyundai Merchant Marines Vietnam Co., Ltd won “The Gross Champion Ship”; The first runner- up prizes of the divisions belonged to Mr. Jeff Lo (Chief rep. of Wanhai Shipping lines), Wilson Yeh (General Director of Evergreen VN) and Mr. Hòang Trọng Khánh-Vice director of KMTC Vietnam. The Opening ceremony of Newport Pilot Company and year-end party drew the attendance of 96 guests including Representatives from Shipping Lines, Vinamarine in the South Port , Authorities of HCM City and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Customs zone I, Pilot Company, the Border Guards and reporters from Media and Press. The golf tournament and the year-end party of SNP Company is the sincere gratefulness of SNP to Shipping Lines for their support and good co-operation in the past time in spite of the difficulties of 2008. In his speech at the party being on behalf of the Shipping Lines, Mr. Jeff Lo (WHL) promised to continue giving the support to SNP and using services of the Newport pilot Company. Establishment of the Newport Pilot Company has met the expectation of Shipping lines and assisted SNP to approach the target of supplying one- door services to the shipping lines and clients. The representatives of the shipping lines all believe that the establishment of Newport Pilot company will help Shipping Lines using the services of SNP operate more efficiently and enhance the service quality of SNP.
