On April 30th 2008, Mr. Sean T. Connaughton, the USA Maritime Administrator led the Delegation of USA Maritime Administration, APL and NIKE Vietnam to Cat Lai port.
On April 30th 2008, Mr. Sean T. Connaughton, the USA Maritime Administrator led the Delegation of USA Maritime Administration, APL and NIKE Vietnam to Cat Lai port. Mr. Ngo Trong Phan – Deputy General Director of SNP Company received the delegation on behalf of Board of Directors. Subsequent to the SNP’s presentation about the company business activities and premises, the delegation raised many questions concerning the ISPS code implementation, the dredging of the access channel into Hiep Phuoc port and Ports in Thi Vai-Cai Mep areas, infrastructure projects connecting Thi Vai-Cai Mep ports into the neighboring industrial parks and Southern focal economic area. The delegation visited the TOPX control tower as well as port facilities. The delegates highly appreciated the state-of-the-art handling equipments and the advanced container management system at Cat Lai Port.
