With strategies to expand capacity and explore new market at focal economic areas, in recent years, SNP has employed synchronized solutions to develop, manage, exploit port and logistics network in the Mekong Delta, especially in Can Tho City – the center of Mekong Delta. In the development of its supply chain connecting the Mekong Delta and Hochiminh City via barges, together with SNP’s premises (including Tan Cang – My Tho, Tan Cang – Sa Dec, Tan Cang – Cao Lanh, Tan Cang – Thot Not, My Thoi Terminal and Tra Noc Terminal), Cai Cui Terminal is considered the center point to boost socio-economic of the region.

The leasing of infrastructure of Cai Cui Terminal is one important event marking SNP’s strategic step in the infrastructure development to meet increasing demand when Vietnam and Southeastern countries become common economic community (ASEAN economic community-AEC) in late 2015, when the Trans-Pacific partnership (TPP) was signed, foreign investors will expand production in IPs and new investors will invest more in Vietnam, Vietnamese exported goods will increase tremendously.
