Saigon Newport entered the top ten of “Vietnam Excellent Brand 2007"

Mr. Tran Dinh Thao- Deputy General Director represented SNP to receive the award at the ceremony. In 2007, SNP has successively received prestigious awards such as “Brand Golden Cup” , “ Top Trade Services 2007” and Top ten “ Excellent Brand 2007”. The awards have affirmed the remarkable efforts and achievements of the company, the right development strategy targeting at enhancing its competitiveness in the comprehensive integration situation of the country.
On March 29, 2008, the honour and award celebration for typical entrepreneurs was held in Hanoi Theatre and lively broadcast on VTV1 channel at the presence of Deputy Ministers of Trade & Industry- Mr. Le Thanh Bien and Mr. Nguyen Cam Tu, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment- Mr. Truong Van Doan, representatives of the relating bodies and hundreds of typical entrepreneur leaders.
Vietnam Excellent Brand is the annual award to be organised by Vietnam Economy Times and Trade Promotion Department ( Ministry of Trade & Industry) to honor the entrepreneurs with excellent achievement in performing the operation and business as well as having the stable branding, enhancing the competitiveness and making great effort in the development process.
The “Vietnam Excellent Brand 2007” has attracted participation of more than 4,000 entrepreneurs representing all kinds of industries and businesses from 64 cities and provinces nationwide. The winners have been selected on the basis of a scientific and reliable method including 7 criteria: Branding protection, quality of products- service, business achievement, management capabilities, human resources, innovation competence and the business stability. In addition to these criteria, the award winners have also been chosen on the financial capabilities of the brand owners according to the credit rank provided by the State Banks of Vietnam. 129 entrepreneurs were elected to receive the award “ Excellent brand of 2007”. Saigon Newport was announced to be in the top ten list of “ VIETNAM EXCELLENT BRAND 2007” together with other reputable ones as Vinamilk, Vinashin, Vietcombank ,
