Signing ceremony of memorandum of understanding (MOU) between KCTC Vietnam and Tan Cang Cai Mep (TCCT)

On 01/10/2020, the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TCCT and KCTC took place at Saigon Newport Corporation Building, Tan Phuoc Ward, Phu My Commune, Ba Ria – Vung Tau. The goal of thí MOU is to become a comprehensive partner in providing warehousing and logistics services..
The MOU signing ceremony between KCTC Vietnam and TCCT marks a new milestone in the partnership between KCTC Vietnam and TCCT after a period of effective cooperation and this event will create greater motivation for mutual connection towards the goal of becoming a comprehensive partner of each other, ensuring long-term and sustainable cooperation based on the advantages of both sides to best exploit the available potentials.
This MOU is agreed on the principle of cooperation to provide and use products and services in areas of mutual interest, in order to maximize their competitive advantages and strengths, as leverages for development for both companies, and to meet the trend of development and international economic integration.
Content of cooperation between the two parties is unified to organize the implementation on organizing the deployment of products and services, construction investment projects (bulk vessels/ equipment vessels operation; transport services for containers, bulk cargo, OOG cargo...); Develop the project of 68,000sqm under KCTC Vietnam’s land use right at Cai Mep area, with the goal to make this project an extension of TCCT to facilitate the management and operation and serve common customers of both Parties (of which, expected use: 58,000sqm for CY and roads; 3,000sqm of warehouses; 7,000sqm for office buildings, factories).
The signing of this MOU between KCTC and SNP have meaningful importance to the development of two parties, help improves service quality, hence provide Logistics services for the market not only within the province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau nor within the territory of Vietnam, but also expand to the international markets.
