Thank-you party 2014: Widen the joining hands circle

On March 6th 2014, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) held a Customers Thank-you Party on the topic “Widen the joining hands circle” at C4 berth – Tan Cang Terminal. The party shows SNP’s deep gratitude to all valuable customers, partners and the governmental body for the good co-operation and support which has made the business achievements of SNP during the past year, especially those made in 2013.
Among those, the official launching of Saigon Newport Logistics (SNPL) and Tan Cang Overland Transport JSC, the expanding of the connectivity of waterway transport in the Mekong Delta has shown the determination of SNP in developing the second core business – Logistics. Moreover, the stable growth of SNP in term of the terminal operation has been more proved through the events of putting new berth in Tan Cang - Cat Lai operational, starting Tan Cang – 128 Terminal, taking over ODA Terminal in Cai Mep, signing a joint venture contract to build and exploit Tan Cang – Hai Phong International Terminal, starting construction of Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc that will operate in the fourth quarter of 2014 . With these efforts, in 2013, Saigon Newport Corporation has achieved total container throughput of 3.88 million teus, accounting for over 85% market share of the import - export container terminal in HCMC, 71% in Cai Mep, and 50% of the country. With the exceptionally excellent achievements, in 2013, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Nghiem – SNP’s CEO – has been awarded the title "Labor Hero" by the President. This is the most prominent event of SNP in 2013 which has brought the pride for all management, staff, soldiers, employees of SNP.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rear Admiral – Labor Hero – President Nguyen Dang Nghiem, on behalf of Saigon Newport Corporation, expressed thanks to all customers, partners and the governmental officers. He emphasized that the party is also the event to connect the earlier commitments between SNP and customers about "Top quality service" and "Sustaining implicit trust".
In 2014, the strategy of Saigon Newport has been based on two core businesses: port operation, logistics and gradually implementing of domestic shipping. These have been built on three foundations: customer- oriented top service quality; advanced management & high-quality professional human resources; military discipline combined with corporate culture & responsibility to the community. SNP would like to widen the joining hands circle with customers and partners aiming at “One stop service- Multi benefit” for each enterprise and the whole community.
