The opening ceremony of Texhong - Tan Cang Logistics Jsc

On September 22nd, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) organised the Opening Ceremony of Texhong – Tan Cang Logistics JSC. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Director of Vinamarine, Mr. Hong Tian Zhou, Chairman of Texhong Group, the comrades in the Party, SNP Board of Directors, officers and employees from SNP, Texhong Group, Texhong – Tan Cang and more than 100 guests from shipping lines, textile companies, partners attended the ceremony.
Being a military enterprise, SNP has 25 connecting establishments operating in ports, ICDs and warehouses locating in key economic zones of Vietnam. Over the past years of developments, SNP has asserted its prestige and strong brand name both in domestics and international market, being the leading container port operator in Vietnam, ranked in the Top 30 world largest and most modern ports and consecutively ranked No.1 in the Top 20 leading logistics companies in Vietnam in 2014 and 2015.
Texhong group, leading Chinese textile corporation, was established in 1997. Through two decades of continuously growth, Texhong has developed 17 production bases in China and overseas, six production bases are located in the overseas, in which there are four in Vietnam, with a total production capacity of 300,000 tons/year. Its footprint be expanded further in Asia and North America. Now Texhong has extensively developed its marketing and distributing network across China, Brazil, Turkey, Bangladesh, Japan, South Korea.
Since 2010, SNP has provided services for Texhong, after half a decade, SNP’s services for Texhong has risen remarkably both in term of volume (it is forecasted that in 2016 the volume shall increased more than 05 times compared to the beginning) and also in various types of services (from overland transportation to sea freight, customs clearance services...). With tightened collaboration and developing demand in the future; reckoning the immense opportunities and challenges from TPP and incoming Free Trade Agreements toward textile and logistics business sectors, SNP and Texhong Top management has reached an agreement on promoting partnership to a new strategic level, establishment of Texhong Tan Cang Logistics JSC, specialized in logistics services providing to Texhong and other textile manufacturers in Vietnam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hong Tian Zhou, Chairman of Texhong Group, told that Texhong will continue to strengthen the comprehensive and practical cooperation with Saigon Newport corporation, expecting that the establishment of Texhong Tan Cang Logistics Joint Stock Company would be a platform for the relating parties to fully utilize different industries’ resources, its professional business management and up-to-date technology as well as its market advantage to concentrate different originally separated and isolated flows, thus providing users and customers with muti-functional or personalized products and customized one-stop logistics services and Tailor-made solution.
Speaking on behalf of SNP’s management, Executive Vice President Le Tuan Anh emphasized that Texhong – Tan Cang Logistics JSC is not only a simple sum of the partners’ capacity, but the combined strength of the cooperation shall also multiplied the socio-economics benefits for the company and the community, he also expressed the great belief that Texhong – Tan Cang Logistics JSC shall progress its business, develop quickly, provide the optimal and full package logistics solution to Texhong Vietnam effectively, with the best quality service.
