10 Feeders with top throughput at Cat Lai Port in 2006

In 2006, Cat Lai Port container throughput approximates 1.5mil TEUs with an annual growth rate of more than 35% in comparison with that of 2005. At present there are 30 regular ship calls at Cat Lai Port at more than 150 voyages/month. Cat Lai Port is now making efforts to boost productivity for the enhancement of customer services in an attempt to reach annual throughput objective of 1.7 to 1.8mil TEUs.

At present there are 30 regular ship calls at Cat Lai Port at more than 150 voyages/month. Cat Lai Port is now making efforts to boost productivity for the enhancement of customer services in an attempt to reach annual throughput objective of 1.7 to 1.8mil TEUs. At 30 moves/hr, the average PPS (Productivity Per Portstay) has increased by 40 – 50% in comparison with that of 2006.
