On February 17, 2025, Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) proudly welcomes M/V ONE EAGLE - the maiden call of EC3 service operated by the Premier Alliance. This marks a significant milestone in TCIT’s strategic partnership with the alliance’s member shipping lines, reinforcing its role as a key gateway for global trade and unlocking new opportunities for import-export businesses.
Formed through the strategic restructuring of the former THE Alliance, Premier Alliance unites three leading shipping lines: Ocean Network Express (ONE), HMM, and Yang Ming with operations officially commencing in February 2025.
The alliance boasts a fleet of over 300 container ships with a total capacity of 3 million TEUs, deploying 24 service routes across Asia-Europe, the Americas, and the Mediterranean. Their goal is to benefit all stakeholders by offering optimized shipping solutions in terms of cost, routes, and transit times while minimizing supply chain disruptions and ensuring seamless connections for key global trade routes.

Currently, TCIT handles 10 international service routes weekly, directly connecting Vietnam with key markets such as North America, Europe, and intra-Asia.
