SNP contributes to the construction of new rural area in Mekong Delta

Executing the emulation movement "Saigon New Port Corporation contributed to the construction of new rural areas", The Youth Union of SNP has donated 500 million VND to build three bridges in Thuong Phuoc 1 Commune, Hong Ngu District, Dong Thap province.

This is one activity in the series of those done by SNP Corporation since early 2012, contributing to the local socio-economic development as well as strengthening the coordination between Tan Cang shipping JSC (subsidiary of SNP Corp.) with Dong Thap province.

On October 27th, 2012, the Kenh Suon 2 Bridge in Thuong Phuoc 1 was inaugurated to serve and create more favorable conditions for the needs of the people in the area and for border patrol.



Attending the inauguration ceremony, as for SNP Corporation, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Vu Khanh Duong (Deputy Office Manager of SNP), Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Quang Duong (Head of Political Department), Major Doan Van Uan (Propaganda and Training Section, Political Department), Major Hoang Linh (Director of Tan Cang Waterway JSC). As for the province of Dong Thap, representatives of Dong Thap Province Youth Union, representatives of border guards of Dong Thap, The People's Committee of Hong Ngu district, The People’s Committee of Thuong Phuoc 1 commune, The Youth Union and People in Thuong Phuoc 2 commune.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, representatives of SNP Corporation confirmed the deep concern of the Party Committee, Board of Directors of SNP for the supporting of improving the lives of people in rural areas in Dong Thap province in particular and people in the Mekong Delta areas and in the country in general. Representative of Dong Thap Province Youth Union and the border guards in Dong Thap province also expressed their appreciation of the enthusiastic help and support from the SNP Corp. in recent times, confirmed the great significance in both welfare for the people and the military of the inauguration of the Kenh Suon 2 bridge in Hong Ngu District.
