SNPL received the Certificate of Merit from Ministry of Industry & Trade for excellent contributions in Logistics

On November 23th, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade collaborated with Vietnam Economic Times, the People's Committee of Da Nang and the World Bank in Vietnam organized the 7th Vietnam Logistics Forum 2019 with the topic "Logistics supports to enhance agricultural value"..

The Vietnam Logistics Forum is the largest annual event in the logistics service industry, taking place in 2 days (November 23 and 24) including these following activities : Practical survey at Logistics Center and Chu Lai port and visiting Truong Hai automotive factory; Organizing 02 seminars: Logistics connects the East-West economic corridor, Sharing economics in logistics; The whole session of Vietnam Logistics Forum 2019 - Logistics about the topic "Logistics supports to enhance agricultural value".

Attending the Forum, there were Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue and representatives of ministries, sectors, localities, the World Bank in Vietnam, representatives of domestic and FDI enterprises, domestic and international experts in Economics, agriculture, logistics, industry 4.0 ....



According to the World Bank's Report on Logistics Performance Index (LPI) in July 2018, Vietnam ranked 39/160 countries in the study, moving 25 level up compared to 2016 and rose to 3rd in ASEAN. Vietnam is also the country that ranks at the top among emerging markets. In recent years, the logistics industry has a high growth rate of 13-15%. The current number of transport and logistics enterprises is about 3,000, including roads, railways, seaways, inland waterways, and airways…..

Currently, Vietnam has many advantages to develop the transport and logistics industry, such as increasing global trade exchange, extensive international economic integration, successful signing of many free trade agreements ... At the same time, Vietnam also has the appropriate geographical position to be the transshipment centers of Southeast Asia (warehouses, highways, seaports, airports ...).


Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue is giving a speech 

Speaking at the Vietnam Logistics Forum in 2019, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue suggested that ministries, departments and sectors should identify Logistics as an important service in the national economy; focusing on researching and forecasting the recent economic – political developments and the wave of 4.0 industrial revolution; proposing to the Government appropriate policies to take advantage of opportunities and deal with new difficulties and challenges; Studying and developing an overall strategy in line with a Master Plan for Vietnam's logistics industry development through 2030, with a vision to 2040; finally, consolidating the National Committee with a flexible management between central and local authorities to enhance the role of directing and managing logistics activities, continuing to focus on building the logistics experts.
